CareGiverOS

About Us

We are building the caregiver intelligence layer we wish existed earlier.

CareGiverOS was shaped by real caregiving pressure: too many portals, too much ambiguity, and too little support for families trying to make informed decisions under time pressure.

What we believe

Caregivers deserve context

Information should be organized into the next question, the next risk, and the next decision.

AI should increase clarity

The job is not to replace clinicians. The job is to help families prepare better and advocate faster.

Dignity matters in the workflow

Good care coordination gives families more time for the moments that actually matter.

Founder Story

Built from one family’s need to move faster than the system.

Founder Pratik Desai came to this problem from a blend of systems strategy, AI work, and healthcare-adjacent experience. But CareGiverOS did not begin as a startup concept. It began as a response to crisis when his mother was diagnosed with stage 4 duodenal adenocarcinoma.

Faced with fragmented records, delayed follow-up, and an overwhelming volume of decisions, he built a workflow that could synthesize documents, summarize what changed, and help the family prepare sharper questions for clinicians. Over time, that workflow surfaced inconsistencies in reports, helped spot dangerous patterns, and created a more complete picture of what was happening day to day.

The lesson was straightforward: families are expected to manage extraordinary complexity without the tools to do it. CareGiverOS exists to close that gap with better organization, clearer summaries, and decision support that helps caregivers stay oriented when the stakes are highest.

How We Work

Three principles shape every screen we build.

fact_check

Traceability

Summaries should always connect back to the underlying record, result, or visit so caregivers can verify what they are seeing.

psychology

Decision Readiness

The product should help families understand what changed, what is urgent, and what to ask next before they walk into the room.

Human Centering

Every workflow should protect time, dignity, and emotional bandwidth for the caregiver and the person receiving care.

Our Mission

Build software that helps families advocate with more confidence and less chaos.

We are creating a system where caregiving information is easier to understand, easier to act on, and less likely to get lost between appointments, portals, and providers.
